I grew up in a coaching family and was blessed with the opportunity to learn sports from an incredible coach, my dad. He developed a strong love of sports in my life and i was fortunate enough to compete in baseball and basketball through junior high and high school, and eventually play four years of college baseball. Most importantly, I grew up in a Christian home where I was taught about the love of Jesus and when I entered my sophomore year of college, I transferred to Hannibal-La Grange University. Here I saw what it meant to be a disciple of Jesus and to truly love him and love others the way that He does. After graduation I was baptized and began serving in the church and looking for every opportunity to be a light for Him in my life. Eight years ago I was approached with the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with coaches and athletes through FCA. This was a truly pivotal moment in my life as I got the chance to share my passionate love of Jesus through the platform of sports.
These last eight years have been incredible, and is truly privilege to be a part of what God is doing through FCA. I am so grateful for our FCA team, all of our faithful donors who are praying and supporting us, and for all of the outstanding coaches and athletes, that we get the chance to work with daily. God is working in mighty ways through the platform of sports, and we believe this is just the beginning of helping coaches and athletes become followers of Jesus who lead others to be followers of Jesus.
I am blessed to be married to my wonderful wife, Natalie, and we have three amazing children: Brady- 18, Addysen- 17 & Isley- 10.
“so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.”
