I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home with my mom teaching Sunday School, leading Girl Scouts, and so much more. Because of her example, I learned that pastors aren’t the only ones who can spread the Gospel.
During my teaching and coaching career, I knew that God had put me in a place where I could show others the love of Jesus. Almost a decade before retirement, my husband Rob and I began running an FCA Power Camp for kids in grades 5-8 every summer. At that time, I felt like maybe God had more for me to do with FCA after retirement. God gave me the summer off after I retired, but that fall I committed to joining FCA as a part-time area representative. Now I am honored to work with area coaches, helping to engage, equip, and empower them to share Christ.
It is my prayer that God will continue to use me through FCA to build His Kingdom here on earth until He comes again.
